Minor game option request.

If theres one thing that I would hope to see added to the game, its the option to turn off the ability to steal, as its something I don't intend to do most of the time. And when i go to a bookshelf, i could easily accidentally steal something instead. Unfortunatley this and being able to attack friendly AI have been two things that I found to get in the way at times in the original games, though i'm glad the latter has already been dealt with. If there is already an option, then please tell me where it is.

If you're on PC, there's an addon for it. I agree with this fully though.

The excuse of all sausage fingered thieves!! "I didn't mean to..." Your episodic reign of stealing has been eliminated!
Yeah this has happened to all of us well intentioned Tamrielians a time or two. Just have to be extra careful.

You can turn off attacking friendlies. It's in the options, under gameplay I think.

Many people forgot about it and had issues figuring out how to use the blade of woe.
