Why VMA Keeps Me From Logging In

I'm an almost exclusively PvP player. Sure, I'll run dungeons and trials, but they bring me little to no enjoyment.
Well, I've been frustrated with ESO for a while, and have been playing a new game that rhymes with cloverswatch, but the servers were down today. So I decided to retry VMA, and literally nothing has made me never want to log in again more. It's not that it's difficult (even though difficult isn't the word I would use), it's that literally almost every build I need to run requires a VMA weapon, and to complete those builds I have to spend countless hours doing something that makes me never want to play ESO again.
It's not content that I think is good on any level. It's not challenging, as most of the time I feel like I get one shot with a combined 50k+ shields and health, it's a terrible excuse for content. Even if I got to the point where I could score at the top of the leaderboards with ease, I'd still think it were crap content. It's not fun, it's not enjoyable, but the fact is for me to run a complete build in PVP I have to slam my head against a wall to do so. I'd pay anything not to run Maelstrom, I just don't enjoy it, but this piece of crap game literally requires me to run it.
All of this would be fine if I could buy VMA weapons. I don't care the price, anything is worth not having to force my way through this pathetic content update.

Trenia✭✭✭A lot of people I know enjoy VMSA. I know it was my favorite addition to the game. VMSA weapons are nowhere near required for pvp. In fact, they aren't even BIS for a majority of pvp builds. Don't make excuses. If you want the drops, do the content. P2W ruins games. You already got monster helms and shoulders from AP.0
