Noob question on Mounts

So, I just started playing ESO a few days ago, and purchased the Imperial edition, which gives a mount from the start.
My first character created, was able to summon the mount straightaway by pressing H on the keyboard.
However, I decided shortly thereafter to create a new class character.
This time, my new character does not have access to a mount (my original character shows a mount included in the opening character screen, the new character does not, and cannot summon one in-game with the H key).

So, I am assuming the following:

1) You only get one mount per character, it does not apply account-wide to new characters you create.
2) I'm not sure if there is a way to transfer the mount from my original character to the new one.
3) I'm wondering if I delete the original character will the mount be also destroyed, or can a new character *inherit* it after the original character is deleted.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Open your menu, go to customization -> Mounts. Select your mount.

Edit: All characters on your server will have the mount. Unless you switched from EU to NA or NA to EU in which case you lose everything.

Or, on the PC, go to Collections, Mounts and make the horse active.

Remember, the training you do on one character to increase speed or carrying capacity or stamina does not transfer to another character, only the horse or rather, the horse skin.
