Can we fix bash on consoles please?

So, there's been a problem with bash on consoles since release. Because you can't remap buttons, in order to bash you have to first block, which stops your stam regen. Builds based around bash add diversity to the game and require a very high level of resource management, turning your stam regen off every time you try makes it ridiculously hard, almost impossible to play these builds.

Nothing worse than spamming bash to interrupt but it never interrupts like it should.

That's not at all what I mean. I'm talking about bash not being useful as an offensive tool in builds, particularly LA-ransack-bash animation canceling. It disables your stamina recovery in such a way that it makes these builds nearly impossible to play and hurts build diversity

I get what you're saying, a single button bash would be nice. I also use it frequently, it's a stamina killer

It also contributes to interruptible abilities being stronger than they should, since you have to weigh the choice of stopping a casting opponent or stopping your stam regen in the middle of a fight.

Not sure exactly how we could get this to work smoothly.

What I do know is we need to replace the button that toggles through quests with something, like the ability to activate synergies.

I'd prefer if we could manually assign keys.

The first thing I did when I got an elite controller was to try to re map bash to a bottom paddle. I was really disappointed I couldn't. S&B is built around interrupting abilities and the button manipulation to do it is a little extreme

I can reliably LA-Ransack-Bash at present, even though it requires some weird hand positioning, but if we could just remap buttons it would open up s/b builds for people that don't want to spam WB all day. As it is, you have to make a ton of sacrifices to run such a build and its made worse by this issue, its basically only viable on consoles using a Black Rose build that had a lot of cost reductions and a very very low investment in regen.
