Name change tokens.

Unless I'm missing something it seems that you cannot check to see if the name is taken before purchasing a name change token. So for example if I wanted my character to be named "Akatosh" which is most likely taken hence "Most likely" I would have to purchase the token first before I'm either happy with the change or sad that the name is already taken.

If I'm incorrect can anyone please correct me because I still don't see it (was checking it on PTS).

It is probably the same as with a new character, you only know if the name is taken when you try to make one.

I don't think the token would get used until you find a name you can use, but you are buying the token first to even try to find out.

If you have a free character slot you could always make a new character, experiment with names and if you find one you like then create the new character to lock in the name, buy your token, delete your new character and finally rename your original character.
