Lich-set combos

When I realized that the lich-set only came in 5 specific pieces I was really bummed out. I thought I could combine it with 2 torugs and 1 Molag Kena, but I can't. Since then I've been trying to find a way to combine these 5 pieces with other sets to maximise spell crit or spell damage. Bear in mind that it is for my Sorc, so no dual wield, only 1 destro staff. Any clever ideas?

Was actually thinking 5 lich, 2 Torugs for Spell Damage and 2 Julianos for Spell Crit. But I'm not sure...

One unique trait of the Lich set is that the 5-piece bonus actually procs and remains active for 20s even if you switch weapons. As a result you can run the 4 armor pieces and use the Restoration Staff on your back bar. When you magicka gets under 33%, you only need to switch to your back bar to proc the effect, then you can switch to your front bar. This allows you to use 3 armor, 3 jewelry, and 1-2 weapons for other sets. This gives you the potetial to run 5 pieces of Julianos (3 armor, 2 weapons) and still have jewelry for Willpower. There are quite a few variations depending on the desired sets but you are restricted to Waist, Legs and Feet for armor so plan accordingly.

I know that, the problem is that 3 armor + 2 weapons for Julianos can work only if you wield swords, which I don't (so missing out on the 299 spell damage bonus, which sucks!) I can only work with 4 remaining pieces...

Wait for warlock and use that with jewelery. You'll become a full time heal bot with no worries.

Check out the Moondancer and Vicious Death sets as these have jewelry and all weapon types. Just fill in the gaps with Willpower.

I have a gold Litch set, tried a few things to get my spell damage up. But even when using 2 piece Vicous Death and 2 Torgs Pact (258 spell damage) I felt it wasn't preforming.

I ended up going litch + Clever Alchemist (duel weild) and having decent success. Falls short when running into other destro sorcs tho.

You are better off going a different route for sustain if you want to run destro.

Check out the new Amberplasm set for sustain instead of Lich. Amber's 5-piece is 300 magicka and stamina recovery and it has the basic max mag, spell crit and damage bonuses. It has jewelry and all weapons so it can fill in anywhere too. This will be your best bet for sustain without sacrificing a 2-piece monster and/or 5-piece crafted set.

For a Destro/Resto setup you can do 5 Amberplasm (2 armor, 3 jewelry), 5 Crafted (4 armor, both staves), and 1 Molag Kena.
