(8/2/16) Today's Patch

Pc player here. After today's patch my gameplay has become so laggy and glitchy I can no longer fight in combat effectively. I've never had any issues with lag or anything up until this point(even yesterday right after update installed).
Mainly this is effecting my ability to activate skills and switch weapons. Most everything seems to be running smoothly except when I'm in combat.
I've tried everything from relogging, restarting ESO launcher, and turning graphics all the way down.(if anything it got worse when I turned graphics down)
Is anyone else having similar problems? I'm kind of worried because atm, the way my gameplay is, I can not enjoy it at all. I don't want some tiny patch to be the end of my ESO experience.

We've moved this post to the PC technical support forum where you're more likely to find someone to help. Have you tried updating your drivers? Also, make sure you're running the game as an Administrator and add ESO and Bethesda.net to your antivirus exceptions.

If that doesn't help please submit a ticket to our support team and be sure to include your game consultant.

I'm not very computer inclined. Honestly I don't know how to do any of that. I did google how to update drivers and I'm doing that now.
How do I make sure I'm running game as admin?

I'm very computer inclined and this is happening to me too. Ever since the hotfix today my Ping is randomly spiking like crazy. I was just healing a group though Vet Cradle of Shadows and was unable to finish due to my character constantly hitting 999+ ping and being unable to heal, weapon swap, dodge roll, etc.

I'm on the phone with my ISP right now to see if it's my modem/router, but I'm hoping this is on ZOS' end and they can fix it quickly.

ISP said everything on my end looked normal. I talked to another friend of mine and he started getting massive ping spikes since the hotfix today too. Also, while in the game the past 20 mins just sitting in Mournhold & Wrothgar watching my ping, I got kicked back to the login screen 3 times.

yea I can't even get into Deshaan currently.
I updated drivers but that didn't seem to help anything...

See here. I've had my event monitor running and did some packet traces, and it definitely looks to be issues on zeni's end.

Yeah, small update. About 45 mins ago my problems just stopped. Aside from a few "kick to login screens" while trying to use wayshrines, my latency issues seem fixed. I'll keep my eyes on it tho and if it goes bad again I'll update here.

As it's been for me since today's patch, it seems I can't play ESOTU anymore. I've had game crashes, freezes, "can't connect, do you have internet?" and serious FPS drops in fights the short time I've been in the game, but worst of it all are the eternal Loading Screens. It's just not viable for me to have ~40 mins gameplay from a 3 hour sitting, until I gave up.

Today's patch made the game pretty much unplayable. I get lag, abilities not working, can't mount or dismount from horse, weapon swaps not working. ESO just stopped being enjoyable.

I leave most of my characters in Deshaan. Now I can't log into half of them. What a pain.

I have ten characters ( I know, I know). I can log into eight of them with no problem. I have tried for over an hour to log into my two main characters. Every time I try I get an error message, "can't connect to server". I have probably tried 20 times on each of them - nothing... One is in Cyrodiil. I was playing that character right up until the update last night without any problem. The other is in Deshaan. I have five characters in Deshaan. Four of them I can log into without any problem.

This isn't a problem with my system. ZOS... smh

Everything seems to be working normal now for me.
