Is a "charged" Maelstrom Inferno staff even worth using?

Or just stick with my Julianos/whatever inferno staff? I do plan on farming for a real trait starting next patch but trying to figure this out for the time being.

I know that charged is an absolutely useless endgame trait but I like the spell power and enchant on the VMA staff. Just not sure if it's worth it.

The only use I could see for it is if you use that destruction staff on your backbar.

Casting Wall of Elements while that staff is held in your hands will activate the enchantment. If you switch weapons, light attacking will still proc the bonus light attack damage for the entire duration of the spell.

So either Destro/Destro or DW/Destro

Right on, I'll try it out with a couple Torugs swords and a 5 set.

Actually, with the Blockade of Fire 20% damage bonus while burning (Wall of Elements morph) this is actually a decent trait for maelstrom inferno staff in particular.

I can slot reflective light and combined with the added status proc effect for the staff, enemies should almost always be burning and take the additional 20% damage from the blockade.
