Oh that's really annoying. I was carefully managing my inventory of V14 mats so that I would run out on patch day. Came pretty close. I assumed that removing them from the requirements would remove them from the reward. I swear, surveys are barely worth my time to gather anyway.
Seriously? They haven't sorted that yet? How in the hell can they release the change for writs without changing what they drop (and what drops from enemies in general) to match? Are they seriously just trolling us with this ***!? Wtf ZOS.

Do you know if this is a bug or something that is not working as intended? Or are the surveys intended to give a mix of mats similar to the way it was prior to this update?
Any word on this subject? I'm seriously thinking about holding off on any of the max level material writs until this is addressed. I might even do what someone else suggested and drop my non-main crafting chars down to CP140 crafting level to do Craglorn writs - at least there will be a chance for nirnhoned from the surveys there.
I really hope this is given priority to be fixed ASAP.
Getting useless lowlevel materials for your top tier writs is frustrating to say the least. You use all ruby mats now = you should get all ruby mats in return.
Again, I hope this is being prioritized to be fixed soon, and not sometime far down the future.
Yes, for goodness sake hardly anyone needs the CP140 mats, certainly you don't want to do max level writs if a proportion of the mats you get back from surveys are now useless - it made sense when the writs needed those mats for some of the items, but now it's not worth it.
