Abah's Watch and Trinimac motifs.

Is there a rough idea as to when these motifs are likely to be available on the Crown Store?

I'm trying to farm the Tirnimac swords and the full Abah's Watch motif (or earn enough gold to purchase them from a guild trader)...but I strongly suspect they'll hit the Crown Store before I get them in-game via gold or drops.

Don't really want to waste too much time chasing them if they're going to be available via the store soonish.

I would hope, after Akaviri hits...as it's been mooooonths behind the others that dropped in that same update... :o

Abahs Watch is just effin brutal and boy do I mean brutal.

The quests to do them are mindnumbingly boring exacerbated by every time you port out of Hews Bane or to your next location you guaranteed anywhere two to four load screens or just two with exceptionally long load screen message (this is NA USPS4).

The missions themselves require you 1 - be a nightblade or 2 - spend at least eight to twelve skill points to run best effectively (four from thieves guild to speed up bounty timer, 4 from ledgermin for increased pick poet chance, 4 from ledgeman to increase the amount items you can fence in a day, and optionally four to reduce detection radius of stealth and four to improve lock pick forcing). That's is a substantial investment of skill points that would be cool it going to back to point one pick pocketing 30 people in three different zones wasn't just mindnumbingly awful.

The drop rate of Abahs is abysmal, hell it makes abysmal look good.

Sure you can stand next to board and abandon mission after mission after mission after mission after mission until you get the covetous countess mission but this actually put me to sleep on the couch and I think I actually picked up and abandoned three mission while I was actually sleeping.

Then the duplicates I have got Abahs Watch staves seven times in fact I'm sitting on two right now because I don't have guild trader with a trader currently.

I am sitting at 8 of 14 chapters for this one and I've honestly just given up, I would rather have my wisdom teeth pulled with no anisthesia then farm those missions anymore.

Their rarity and the lack of people actually running these missions are reflected in the prices of the chapters they are ridiculously overpriced on PS4 for three reasons the style itself is actually average at best although some of the weapons are cool, very few people want to run these mission the amount of time it takes to farm this set, and the drop rate sucks.

This motif and the way they did glass (although you could buy glass in the crown store relatively quickly but the outrage from that is why they are so tepid about putting motifs is the crown store now) make me sorry I have a crafting character.

    That and the fact crafters can't;

Re-trait their own/or other for that matter gea

I'm going down the Covetous Countess path myself...but I'm almost over it. I'll do it once or twice a night, then go and do something interesting.

Found an Abah's Watch chest chapter on a trader for 80k...but I just couldn't bring myself to buy it. Mostly because of the sneaking suspicion if I did, ZOS would be watching, and then troll be by either

    a) having the motif drop in my next mission
    or
    b) having somebody put the Trinimac Sword chapter up for a little over 80k (I don't have much more than 80k in gold).

That's robbery, I'm currently selling it for 40K in my guild store, (EU, Ebonheart city) and even that is a little much.

When I originally tried collecting the set from the quest I eneded up buying about half of it from guild stores, people where selling it for 40-50 K gold, which really traiend my wallet. I try to be a bit more reasonable, so I'm selling most of my leftower motifs for about 25K, but even that is selling very slowly.

It's totally worth collecting the set though, it looks amazing and I'm using the heavy armor version on my main character.

Console prices are all over the place....I've seen Abah's Watch shields for anything between 40k to 100k +

I really do wonder if some players really are trying to sell their stuff...
