Chapters of the dro-m'Athra style motif - or, rarely, the full Motif Book - can be obtained by completing the quest to clear the Maw of Lorkhaj.
Defiled Whiskers, the Style Item for the dro-m’Athra style, can be obtained from the quest to clear the Maw of Lorkhaj, or from defeating the bosses of the Maw of Lorkhaj - rarely on Normal mode, guaranteed from every boss on Veteran mode, and with multiples from Rakkhat on Veteran Hard mode.

....Unless they forgot and need to clarify it better for us.

Having the motif chance tied with the Daily Quest coffer (similar to Trinimac) puts an end to the rampant boss camping that was the bane of the first month of the Dark Brotherhood.
If you're disappointed, then you have those players to thank. I would list some of the worst offenders on PC NA ... but that goes against naming and shaming in the forums.
A good change to make it fair for all players.

I am a proud offender. I spent many many hours farming those sweet coast bosses to get Assassain motif's for my boyfriend and would happily do it again.lol
On the real though, the daily quest for motifs is pretty lame to me but I see why some are happy about it too.

I see where you are coming from but these quest are only a "once a day" quest. I play 1 character so I get one chance a day to possibly get a page.
Wrothgar, you could do multiple quest a day. It wasn't bad at all.
Look at the drop rate of Abah's Watch pages. I average a page about every 10
Laundered Shipments I open. But I can do an infinite amount of those a day.
Hopefully the drop rate is a lot better for these motifs.
No one wants to do the Gold Coast daily bounty quest 100 + times.

There's a difference between the most convenient way for some players and the fairest way for all players ...
These are crafting motifs and shouldn't be handed out like candy.

Still looking for clarification about Dro-m"artha motif. Does it drop every time we complete the trial or is it only rewarded in the weekly coffer?
WhiteCoatSyndrome wrote: »imnotanother wrote: »Wrothgar, you could do multiple quest a day. It wasn't bad at all.
Not for Trinimac. Though the drop rate was still good enough that I got the entire thing myself, without having to buy a chapter and only running two characters, so no, not bad.
Drop rates are too uncommon given the daily barrier, imo. I did perfect black sacraments on three characters, didn't get one motif. For the TG motifs, perfect heists would reward them about 80% of the time, and I only farmed them on one character and got the pieces I wanted in the span of about a week.
With 0/3 on my first day and really only wanting two particular pieces, I really hope this isn't indicative of the general drop rate. Given that perfect Black Sacraments are waaaaay easier than perfect heists, I can understand TG motifs having a high drop rate, but I think the drop rate for a BS motif should be at least 50%. At LEAST.

Why would they put those motifs in Black Marsh dungeons? Would make no sense.
On the other hand, I already wrote that hiding the motifs behind daily quests would make prices skyrocket. Well I was right. 10k for a single style stone, and 100k to 500k for a single motif page is now the reality on PC EU server. Sure prices will drop a bit later on when they are more abundant, but it's still fustrating that you have to farm your dailies for like half a year real life to be able to get them all due to RNG, or pay in the vicinity of several millions to finish off a motif style. And for those of us who are not loaded with gold to just throw away on anything, that is quite a lot of gold.

You should be farming them now and selling them to fill your pockets, then farm or buy them for yourself when the hype is over

You know, that's exactly the kind of trollish behavious that I will never be a part of. I have gotten pages of all new motifs now, and I have used them all myself instead of selling them for exorbitant prices, same with the style mats.
If everyone would just not buy stuff at these rediculous prices, people would be forced to sell them much lower, and loose their gold for putting them up in guild stores.
But this is just one rational person speaking against a sea of people who 'just want to be first with everything' and flaunt it in other's faces. Well good riddance, I've used my own motifs myself, and I will just not bother buying any until the hype is over. Human behaviour at its lowest.
