I believe only thing they have said is "Not at the moment". But they haven't denied the possibility. I am also waiting for class change to appear some day in the future

Okay, I just wait then. I can be patient. Just like the Elves in the Coldharbour Did they give any reason why to not include it?

Not being able to change classes is an archaic RPG system that serves little purpose other than to promote alternate characters. While there are certainly coding issues with changing a character's class, it would help to promote better class balance if major shifts occur as this would be an indicator of an issue with the current meta.

hmm... But when they hold the ESO live 6/24 I remember them saying that class change is not in their to do list at the moment and they say nothing wther or not it is coming in the future. I dug it up for you:

No, classes and levels are both archaic game design.Hiero_Glyph wrote: »Honestly the reason why FFXI/XIV is so successful is because of the ability to freely change classes. It's particularly baffling considering how ESO handles pretty much everything else. Why not just let everyone have access to every skill line, and then build their character around that? As long as the skills are kept diverse and interesting, so that mulitudes of different builds were all equally viable, there'd... well, there'd be little different. Other than people being able to create the character they want to play, rather than be limited simply for the sake of "that's the way Gygax did it!"
Hell, they even still effectively adhere to the race/class limitations that even D&D (finally) moved away from. Yes, you can be any race or any class, but the way they have racial abilities set up, they *clearly* benefit certain classes and builds far more than they do others, and not in an insignificant way. All other things being equal, a Redguard magicka sorcerer is at a distinct disadvantage to an Altmer magicka sorcerer.

Class change would be a huge mistake though. I would honestly contemplate quitting if they changed their stance on not doing it. If they were to cave on that what's to stop them from caving on so much worse?

D&D has had Classes and Levels since it's inception. There are literally no versions of it where they were removed. I know, I own them all (save fourth, since a day after I bought them I returned them for a full refund).
