Im playing around with DoT Build as NB using Agony, Cripple, Soul Trap.

Its all magic damage.

Champion poins.
Thaumaturge - Increases effectiveness of your damage over time effects.
Elemental Expert - Increases your flame, frost, shock and magic damage.

Guss that is the two best for more DoT damage?
Thaumaturge do that effect Magic Damage DoT also?
And how do Crit work on DoTs?

And each tick has a chance to crit depending on your spell critical %

Thx alot for the answer :)

But what about if i cast a DoT and cast a spell that lower the spell resistens. Will it then have a effect on the next tick or will it only work if it is applied before the DoT?

I remember reading somewhere that the calculation for non-DoT spells was made at the time of casting, and the calculations for DoTs were made for each tick, so if this is true it should work on the next tick.
