Two Alliances were going at it in a resource campaign last night. One clearly won, and the other gave up and went elsewhere.
Lets look at the scoring

What is that crap? Seriously? You reward a team for getting crushed and running away more points than the team that is controlling the whole map?
What is the logic behind that?

Are you thinking they won't catch up unless they get people to log on?
NO - they could sneak on at like 3am on Tuesday and take back the map, instead of doing it on a weekend when everyone is playing. ZOS that is a terrible philosophy. Your killing the biggest time for group play and rewarding whomever it is can play every night of the week.

Get rid of the population bonus.......... let the winners, win..

    I didn't even know this was a thing. But there should be something in place to stop a fraction from zerging down a campaign and making it a buff campaign. If the winners are only winning cause they have more people how is the side with less people suppose to compete

    Winning a campaign with such terms is really easy to manipulate. On PC-EU-Trueflame, 10 minutes before the score evaluation, we would ride to the enemy homekeeps and start taking the ressources at 5:00 remaining. This would gain us 1 potential point and the enemy will loose 2, so a gain of 3 points per ressource.

    What I want to say is that playing for a campaign isn't as it once was..., a ressource is worth more then a scroll? come on, what is the fun in that? While scrolls would give the enemies the motivation to not all go to-the-next-keep and lagg the server out.

    Low population bonus can also be manipulated, let everyone leave the campaign on their alts just before a certain time, take the map and enjoy your 500 points/hour.

    As @thankyourat explained, there is allways an imbalance and it's hard to make it fair for everyone, just tone down the multiplier a bit and it should be totally fine!

    What upsets me about the low pop bonus is that a lot of times it doesn't accurately reflect a low pop. Most of your faction could be in the IC. So, it isn't a Zerg fest going on at all.

    I think a simple way to do this is just to reduce the amount of points you get until populations equal out a bit more.

    Take out the low pop bonus altogether and that way the faction with all the keeps etc still get points but at a vastly reduced amount until the other factions log on and the amount of players evens out. It would also go some way to the nightcapping problem.

    Taking keeps against low pops = less points.
    Taking keeps with even pops = more points.

    Stop playing on a buff campaign for your faction.

    I'm so confused how people think playing on sa pop locked faction compare to the other faction who are usually 0 or 1 bar is fun. Just run around in a zerg that's likely likely bigger than the other two faction playerbase combined.

    How does pop locks even work? I've been in a campaign that all 3 factions were pop locked but one fraction still had more people than the other two factions. But yea I get so confused on how people enjoy playing buff campaigns. What do you do all day if there is no one there to challenge you, Especially the big groups. I think people don't want competition the just want to zerg uncontested

    I would agree they should open up a second guest campaign for players if they were to implement this.Hey I don't care if it personally kills the game for you when it will at least bring some sense of competition to the game where players feel like they can do something without being out numbered 24/7 and push to their gates and players wonder why the other factions leave the campaign.This wouldn't affect campaign that usually have a equal number of players.Only buff campaign were you actually have to fight equal numbers now.Am guessing you wouldn't like that now would you.
