Thanks ZOS, for a second I thought as a magicka pve player I would need to be getting ready for new gear worth getting in the next DLC. After looking I noticed that not a single piece of gear would be good for a magicka pve player and that is awesome.

None of which are better then the current min max sets we have now for pve magic use. I dont have a DK so I dont know if sun set will be better but I couldn't imagine it beats the current min max gear.

They will be available to CR160 now. Vice Vet 12 and Vet -14 from the past. Remember how the craze was for Ravanger and morag tong with this last patch. These will be the new craze.

I can see your point. Stam has had a little more "love" I agree. Not much but a little more. These sets will be really great though. Warlock will definitely be viable for PVP again. SotS we already said how epic it will be. Footman for tanks. And I believe CR 160 master weapons again from VDSA? Not sure can someone confirm?

Plus I believe all sets will now have jewelry instead of some like in the past. Could be wrong on that but it's what I heard. Juilanos or twice born star with Silks of the Sun....oh man I'm drooling.

Magicka have been a meta for 2 years. 1 month into stamina patch, and its like the end of the world.

Btw, 95% of the achievements done, and still at veteran level? XD

3 out of 4 of my toons are magicka based and im very excited for for Amberplasm set. That's a nice compliments to any major set, and it will have jewelry and weapons so mix and match with anything.
Also all the other sets mentioned above that are getting buffed to CP160 are going to add a huge boost to magicka players.

Thats for PVP and not pve, if someone uses it in pve they will be doing less damage then max possible damage and that goes for all the other sets you mention apart from 1 for mDK and that set is also a OLD set just being scaled.

Like I said, not a single NEW set for PVE magicka. The excuse of "it was meta for years etc etc" is not a reason to just ignore the whole magicka based users in a new DLC. I didnt say they should ignore the stam users... So saying its the end of the world and implying that magicka users deserve some form of punishment is a lack of judgement.

It is not a competition to punish either stam or magicka users. It is just common sense to give something knew to both types of users in a damn DLC. Anything else is bad design...

I have 11 million gold. I work 52 hours a week and have literally no reason to log into the game since the last 4% of PVE achivs I want are almost impossible to get without selling my life and being on 24/7.

Edit: That was not to brag but to show that price is not a problem, the 52 hours a week was to say that with limited time I wont waste it on playing a game that provides nothing (in relation to gear not the new dungeons that look fun lol)

Something new might actually make some people like me return to play instead of just getting on once every few days to do a 5 min gold key run then checking your 5 guilds to feel bad that no one does end game trials..

But I think your looking at this from a Class specific standpoint bro and that is not right. You said you have a mNB with scathing Mage set all divine already for it right? Sweet your NB is decked out. But you said you do t have any other class? Roll some new characters bro like a dark elf MDK because that silks of the sun will be sweet. That scathing Mage set you have already has ridiculous dps for PVE hence it is best in slot for a mNB. It doesn't "need" to be replaced is all I'm trying to say.

It's a new DLC, so do they not come with near gear for everyone anymore? Other then dk who else gets a new min max set? (Magicka) I could start a new magicka based class of ANYTHING minus dk and none of the new sets would help min max pve over current sets.

STAM = gets new pve and pvp min maxable gear.

MAGICKA = mDK are happy and EVERYONE else has nothing that beats the current meta.

That is the whole point of this....

I'mma have to look more closely to see what it is they are getting. Last I checked TBS, Night mothers silence and hundings are the Stam go too's for min max dps (they have been around for a long time, we just got Juilanos from wrothgar). Will check into it.
