IC Flags.

    O they respawned several times. It was a nice battle. I didn't capture the flag right away as my first couple of attempts it was defended well but I 'ran my ass' really just a couple of few load screens returned and eventually started getting the upper hand and won the flag.

    Currently for the Respawn to actually Stop the Flag has to have been fully burned away for that Alliance, meaning it's easy to continue to contest. If they changed it so instead the Flag was 'under attack' after the Guards are dead and the flag has started burning away rather than finished burning away it would be fairer as it means it couldn't be endlessly contested.

    Yea, I will agree it does take forever to flag a district. It would be nice if you could see it under attack (and then when it was flagged respawning was disabled) rather than just seeing when it is almost capped. And reading above, the respawn timers should help too. They should put a bit more stuff to LOS around the points while they're at it lol.

    Some of the responses on this thread disgust me. There is no way around the fact that this was just zos plopping a flag in each of the districts and calling it good.

    Comprehension issues.

    The implementation of capture mechanics in IC is obviously half-assed like _every_ other change related to PVP.

    I don't mind the respawn but I hate the flags and the guards because it encourages people to just sit on the flags to protect them from other players. It's already hard enough for a solo player to kill 3 decent players I don't need those cc ignoring guards to stun me every two seconds.

    To be fair, it is FENGRUSH's fault, he kept dronning about how to recycle the IC and then he went on to discover the elephant in the room and bash ZOS, if deservedly so, for releasing utter crap to live servers every single time. That is not something a decent youtuber should do. And so the devs recycled the IC, out of spite, in precisely the way he had said would annoy him the most.

    Besides, it is just purified essence of forward camps, what could be possibly wrong with players respawning over and over?
