Ebon set bug (not shield)!!

I didnt even use the shield because I heard it was bugged so I used an ebon dagger with a footman shield and a two handed Ebon Mace on the other set then I have 3 ebon rings and ebon gloves.
On me it works fine my health bonus doesn't go away when I switch weapons but on my teammates, sometimes the sword and shield has the buff while the two handed doesnt and sometime the opposite.
My party keeps gaining 1k hp then losing it when I switch weapons, its so annoying and it lost the set its purpose. This needs to be fixed I built all my gear around it and now im screwed, all the gold I used to buy it and glyph it is lost unless they fix this set
