Any VMA vampires?

I'm wondering if it's possible to do it as a vampire, have any pale faces conquered the challenge?

My magika NB lives for blood. You'll want dampen magic on though and better be a breton or dunmer. I kind of worked out you need at least 19k spell res to do it comfortably. Round 9 is quite hard, esp the flame knight and Valkyn whatever after does that huge burst attack which does instakill you even with a shield on. Takes practice but it can be done. In all honesty that's at stage 4 vamp. Nothing 9f vampire worth warrants being stage 4 in there, bats aren't great for it when you've got soul harvest, meteor etc. Just go to stage 1 and don't use any vamp skills and you'll notice no difference.

Round 8 I meant. Round 9 is barely any difference if you take the crem guards out asap and DO NOT step on the Xilivi things lava mine. That hurts.

Thanks @DRXHarbinger, I could go stage 1 (which I might need to, not being Dunmer) but I was just wondering if it's possible at stage 4. My vamp is a mag sorc btw.

You'll be fine on a sorc so long as a stun like that annoying round 8 boss knock back doesn't take out your shield and get hit by the flame bolt thing. Other than that it's fine honestly as a sorc you can burst down a crem guard easy enough. The flame meteors on round 9 are pretty much death at crystal phase if you get hit. The guardian things on round 8 are quite bad too but if your shield is up no worries.

I've only done it on vampires for the sake of extra regen. My resistances aren't at 19k either, closer to 12k. It's definitely possible. Bar far the biggest pain is stage 7 and the damage there isn't really affected by vampirism. I mean, being a vampire, I've not paid attention and let the skeleton be summoned in the final fight, killed it and still finished - and that's a rain of fire.

Stage 8 isn't that bad if you know when to block and the spawns. I think after my initial complete I've died there only a handful of times due to stupid mistakes.

I'm also a mag sorcerer, on my main anyway.

Edit: That being said I do sit at stage 2 and not 4. Stage 4 really gives no benefit that's remotely worth it.

Yes mDK Dunmer vamp here. Round 8 and the friggin daedroth on 9 suuuuuucks.

Well seeing as how being at stage 1 pretty much erases being a vampire, it's fine running VMA as a vampire.

I made my first run with my vampire stamblade, so yes, it's doable.

yes, i know a friend who runs a vampire mag templar and still consistently get 500k+ scores

My mageblade is a vamp and I've been grinding it a couple times a day. As long as you stay out of stupid and know the mechanics it's no big deal

My vamp sorc was my first clear. I pumped tons of cps into elemental defender just to be safe.

Now even with the shield nerf I've taken those points out and run the arena at stage 4 without too much effort or trouble. So definitely do able

I was half hoping that this would be a more impressive, unheard of feat to beat it at stage 4 but it's good to know that it's possible.

Good stuff, my vamp is an altmer mag sorcerer too.

I let him go to stage 4 because maintaining feeding was a pain but I think they extended the stage times so I should keep it at 2 like you.
