Differences between bound items?

I understand the difference between "bind on equip" and "bind on pickup". I am confused about bind to character or account.

So...

1. Once you equip a "bind on equip" is it locked to that character or that account?

2. Assuming bind on pickup means bound to account, not character, Once you equip a "bind on pickup" to any of your characters, is it then bound to that character?

3. To sum it all up, are there any sets that are bound to character at any point besides crafted sets?

Thank you!

    3. no, actually not even crafted set are bound to character, and actually no gear in the game is bound to character...the only things I remember bound to character are reward containers, undaunted keys, achievement trophies, imperial retreat stones

No, if it's Bound, you can just put it in the bank and take it out with another character. I have fully improved sets of training gear for various levels that all my characters use as I take them through 1 to 50. I store it all on a Mule character until I need it for a new one.

At least 4 of my characters have worn this same gear. It is kind of smelly now, but if my characters complain, I tell them to go farm the mats then. They usually tell me they will just use some Febreeze

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

That's interesting on the improvement to unbind it trick @DRXHarbinger I've bought a few gold items from the store and wondered why anyone would have done that. That explains it, I mean if you are crazy temper rich, which im not!! But I guess you could text a build on blue, then purple it and sell to recoup

Yep it'd good if you want rid of some crafted gear you made purple. I did it with a Tbs chest piece I had in purple and medium which is hard to come by, used 8 waxes and sold it for 100k which is more than what 8 waxes go for but a better deal for everyone overall when buying leather and Kuta etc.

Devs are online and probably looking to fix this now though.

What set do u use for training?

Crafted Set does not matter all that much, it's more important to have the Training Trait on the gear. For the record, I tend to use Seducer/Magnus for lower level casters, and Julianos/Torugs for higher levels. Would use Hundings/Ashen Grip for my Stamina characters.

You can get away with sub optimal gear during 1 to 50 leveling simply because, for 1 to 50 leveling, gear does not matter, at all really. To that end, I wear a combo of Light/Medium/Heavy (3/2/2) until all my armor skills are at 50. So, I even forgo some of the 5 piece passive bonuses during leveling for this reason.

Bop = you and only your toons at present can use it. Cannot be sold. Next update can be traded within your instanced group only for 2hrs.

BoE. Free to trade and sell but only if never equipped. If you upgrade a BOE item from purple to gold it becomes BoE again to be traded but at a huge cost of 8 gold mats.

No, you generally can't sell BoE equipment that has been worn. I have never tried the "trick" to improve the item to remove the BoE, it just does not seem like a good use of Tempers even if it does work. Then again, all my gear is at least Purple anyway.

So, other than the improvement trick, if it works, you can't trade to other players crafted gear that you have worn.

Ok. Starting to make sense. Would you need to use the improvement trick to swap between characters in ur account so that multiple characters could equip that same "seducers training gear" let's say?

I always thought it was kind of odd you could not sell crafted gear that you have worn. I found it even stranger the message you get at dye stations tell you you cannot sell dyed items.
