If you don't like the vampire skin.... why are you even a vampire at all? Vampires aren't suppose to look natural. Their not suppose to have tan skin.

People become vampires for the passives. Especially in PvE by not becoming a vampire, you are missing out on max regen.

I want an option to stay stage 1 cosmetically. I hate how the passives got locked into stages which means if you play a vampire in pvp, your forced to be stage 4 AND UGLY.

I currently am using a known bug as a work around. If you use a disguise you look human instead of a vampire.

I had no problems with vampirism before db, now i'm forced to stay in stage 4 for the dark stalker passive.

Well, pre-db i could be stage 1 if i wanted and use tri stat drinks instead of duel stat and have decent hp regen with all my vampire passives. The only issue was the 30 minute timer to maintain stage 1 but then it all changed after db.

All i wanted was a reason to feed on players in pvp.... i guess that will never happen.

I was a vampire for a day, and I had to get myself cured asap. As much as I want that extra max regen.... it is not worth getting when I keep dying from fire damage by NPCs. I'm a dungeon/pledges(now Trial) kind of PvE player... and I would NEVER recommend anyone being a vampire. It is brutal when you're first starting.

I really hope so but I doubt it'll be in the next update. It'd be nice considering it relates to the appearance change feature, and since they're getting rid of the much-loved costume bug. A 'set appearance to stage [x]' toggle would be nice, but I'd also like to disable the purple skin my poor Redguard got (yep I'm still annoyed about that! The passives are too useful for my playstyle on that character to give up unfortunately).

On a related note they also need to fix body and face markings being faded out by vampirism.

And in before 'it'll be too OP not to know who's a vampire even though they can already cover themselves up 100% with armor and helmets' ;).

These have got to be the most ridiculous complaints in all eternity. If these complainers had their way, they would only have the perks of being a vampire and none of the drawbacks. These players don't just want the cosmetics to be a certain way, they want more health regen and less damage from fire too, no doubt.
The thing with being a vamp is that there are cons to go with the pros. If there weren't then this game would be called Vampire Scrolls Online, because everyone would be a vampire. Here's an idea: If you don't like what the vampire is doing to your character, then don't be one. But whatever you do, don't complain when you make that choice. Your complaints are more ugly than your Twilight fantasy character.

When was the last time you played pvp? vampires are everywhere now after db. The vampirism change after db caused more harm then good. Bring back camo hunter and revert the changes to vampirism.

If you don't like the vampire skin.... why are you even a vampire at all? Vampires aren't suppose to look natural. Their not suppose to have tan skin.

This isn't entirely true for vampires in the TES universe. There are many different vampirism strains and they can look drastically different from one another. There is even a strain that passes as mortals as long as they are fed.

And even if our strain doesn't have the natural ability to look like mortals, there is still illusion magic. There is a beloved character in Rivenspire that hides his vampirism on your first couple of interactions, for example.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

Oh dear I forgot to add 'in before Twilight reference' as well in my earlier post. Can we please leave that abomination out of this discussion? It has no place in Elder Scrolls.

Anyway, we don't want to get rid of the cons of vampirism. What we are suggesting is that the visuals of the disease are unappealing as they drastically change your character's appearance that you spent so long on in character creation, and since we have the means to cover ourselves up 100% the appearance of it should be able to be tweaked. It's not reliable as is to tell if someone's a vampire from looking at them so why not give players some control over it? Especially since the best passives are locked behind stage 4, which changes your appearance the most.

This game prides itself on its character creation so it should be a fairly reasonable request to have some control over how this disease effects our characters' looks. It doesn't break the lore to do so since vampires in this game do have the ability to appear mortal, and it's no more pvp-destroying than a vampire wearing a fully covering suit of armor. Appearance will not effect the pros and cons of vampirism in terms of game play; I mean at the moment the appearance is a pro to some and a con to others. Why not have everyone be able to enjoy their vampiric characters' appearance?
