Group PVP Magicka Sorc Heal

Let's face it, if you're sacking a keep, the pug baddies are everywhere with you. They don't dodge roll. They don't block. They stand in the red siege circles, and they can't be bothered to f******* heal themselves.

Trying to use healing ward in this kind of battle is an exercise in anger management and high blood pressure.

So which do you switch out and use? Dark deal? Mutagen? Combat Prayer?

I hit ward + dark deal.

You keep Hardened Ward up until you get a Healing Ward. If need be streak a bit away from that zerg for it.

I hit it until I get it, and know that I helped some others out along the way (me solo). Sometimes I spam it a couple of times for those guys, even when I get it right off. Sometime I am those guys...

Use your other shields and then duck back into your faction's AoE heals. Running ward, you aren't going to reliably heal yourself in a big faction engagement. You can slot springs or prayer for some AoE heal assistance if you want to be more self-reliant. That never goes unappreciated in a keep fight.

During keep fight when I'm on my sorc I've learn to keep some distance from the hot zone when the pugs are getting rolled my siege, oil, aoe. Getting some distance, keeping shield up, is a good way to avoid spamming healing ward. No point in standing in the middle of every aoe damage.

If you are zerg surfing you can spam springs and never run out of magicka. Plus the AP <3<3

The problem of that heal is the pet going in rage asap you start doing damage. We need pet stance (aggressive, defensive, passive) or istant cast pet to be effective.

You can tell your pet to don't attack anyone by pressing "y + left click".

The heal is instant and spammable, heal the pet and 2 other allies.

And each time you shield, it's shield the pet too.

Pet AI is horrible, I never use them. Thanks for pitching in though.

My group was fighting superior numbers last night, most of which were pet sorcs. There had to be 8 enemy pets or more, so I tossed in an atronach. ALL of them attacked it. I walked up with a Stam sorc group mate and we killed three pet sorcs between us. The pets never bothered with us. Well, One pulled up a Daedroth, but you can two-shot them easy enough.

TLDR; Pets suck and pet sorcs have a hard time standing up to a full battle Mage or Stam sorc build.

Not sure if you are serious or not. Are you talking about the clannfear heal? I would love to have just the heal without the pet.

No man, they don't command theirpets.

And they have probably a *** way to use it.


You can decide all the pet can do !

Y+ right click on a target say to pet " Attack him"

Y+ left click say " don't Attack anyone and stay near me".

A pet is usefull with around 50k magicka. Have they this ?

I've 10 000k healing tooltip pet, as a DPS.


Pets have the a shield each time I cast it, and pet can heal the other pet if used, himself and others.

Without Something like 50k magicka, it's unusefull, yeah.



There is a thing to know.

Pets are underestimated and the 99% of the 0.1% of people using it are noob.

There is two pets user : One, playing like the leveling, and don't know about pet mechanic, and the other, hwo is Dangerous.

Most time, at last for me, y+left shift is doing nothing and the matriarch start to go wild and die...pet AI need to be improved and pet command must work.

You should look in your commands what you choose for controlling pets.

And you need to be sure to push Y with left click, when Y is still push (I don't know if it's English lol)

I mean stay Y push and use left click, if y is your command pet touch

They improve a little the pet acting in the next patch

agreed, every other game has a separate pet bar that you can control the pet.

You have the same, exactly.

You have 2 touch for controlling your pet :

1 is for focus and attaking a target.

second is keeping your pets passive and must them to follow you.

That's excatly the same than a pet bar, the bar is just invisible.

Not for console... for console they just need to make the highlight toggle be what the pets attack...

Anyway,

I use Blessing of Restoration, it heals me for 10k in PvP up to 15k if I crit
