dungeon queue created group with 5 players?

I grouped up with a friend today for the daily pledge, we got a group but there was 5 of us(we had both joined queue as dps and then there was 3) well anyway to be kind I left the group(she ended up leaving for me anyway. Dunno why)
anyway the question is was that on purpose or not? Kind of weird that it grouped 5 of us for it
