Bug still not fixed since console launch

There is a bug with the banks on the PS4 version that has been there since launch and has still not been fixed and I want to know why. Here is a video to show the issue:

As you can see I have both Iron Ingots and Iron Ore in my inventory and my bank but the game wont let me add those items from my inventory to my bank. I have to first take those items out of my bank to stack them up in my inventory and THEN put them in my bank. This is working correctly on the PC version, you simply click the items in your inventory and it stacks them up in your bank. So please explain why this bug has not been fixed in the YEAR of development since the console release. It's not like you have to put much effort into it as the code to fix this already exists in the PC version.
