Not necessarily a bug, but an annoyance that Blade of Woe and Vampire Feeding are using the same button (or were idk if it's fixed) so it became very hard for a vampire to do a successful blade of woe assassination

It's a non-issue really. Feed has a longer range than blade. Scoot closer and the wording changes. 2 of my characters are vamps and doing DB tasks daily. Just because people see a prompt they smash buttons instead of taking the extra 1/2 second to read.

I am well aware of the range, and how the mechanic works. And, as you mentioned, most of the time you have the convenience of slowly pacing a tgt to ensure you are activating the blade vice feed. However, when doing the timed dailies where you have to kill a tgt without being detected, I have on more than several occasions either been detected because I was too slow in killing a victim trying to ensure I had the right synergy when the tgt would turn and spot me or I would hit the wring synergy trying to quickly kill the tgt before it turned and before a nearby roving warden spotted me.
Now, let me caveat this pointing out that I am on console and it is possible the mechanic is cleaned up on PC. That said, it is poorly designed on console. You are welcome to your opinion...this is mine.

It has been sort of fixed, as you can download an addon that disables vampire feeding.

On PC...
On consoles, the fix is to uninstall the game, build or buy a PC that can run ESO (if necessary), buy a copy for PC, start over with the game, create a new character, make them a vampire, get them into the Dark Brotherhood, download the addon.
So, still fixable, but there's a few extra steps.
