    No. No it isn't.

One Tamriel is the "codename" given to the upcoming "merger" everyone is excited for.

Yeah all areas are now scaled etc because there isn't a wide variety of levelled characters like in successful games..

Or maybe ESO is taking a hint from other MMOs that have been highly successful, such as Guild Wars 2, where you're scaled to the zone, but taking it one step further, because you don't scale up in GW2.

The point of ESO, is that it was always supposed to be a community game, and this is actually something people wanted from the start. They didn't want to be restricted on where they could go and when. They wanted to explore it like a true Elder Scrolls single player game, and ZMO is finally giving it to us.

Yeah I know some of us find it rather unsettling but the majority is psyched.

I'm also looking forward to this quite a bit. I really like the idea that I can finally go to a place like Mournhold and it will be "Mournhold." Not EP Mournhold, not AD silver or DC gold Mournhold, just the one actual Mournhold. I think it will make the world feel alive and connected.

I get that some people don't like that levels will be less meaningful but I still think that it's a good change overall.

No and I personally do want it to go live ..... ever and not cause of battle leveling all zones (that's a totally separate rant) but cause they are killing pretty much half of ESO lore with it.

1 half of the lore is trying to stop Molagbal from enslaving Nirn while the 2nd half is the 3 Alliance civil war you know PvP.

The entire concept of AvA is pointless now cause of one Tamerial. "Oh I have to kill high elves of the Aldmeri Dominion but first I am gonna have a grand old time doing a delve with them maybe some RP snu-snu with a high elf before I am force to kill them because I wanna PvP".

Like there is no point of choosing Alliance any more which was one of the most hype and advertised things about ESO in beta and at launch is whihc Alliance you were gonna swear loyalty too.

To be fair any alliance, any race kind of eradicated that concept ages ago. We are technically freelance, renegade, etc. so if you consider the fact we do not truly owe our allegiance to anyone then it doesn't break lore all that much.

Key word right there you should not be able to go there period. If you are apart of the Daggerfall covenant or Aldmeri Dominion you should not be able to go to any Ebonheart Pact areas and same with EP in AD and DC areas. A enemy soldier should not be able to merrily walk down another faction city streets with out the faction soldiers trying to murder them.

While I see your point from an alliance war / immersion perspective, TES has always been about exploration and striking out into the wilderness going whatever direction you wish. That same feeling is finally coming to ESO and I think that is great.

Additionally, not everyone gets that into the alliance war part of the story. I have a few characters that I don't PvP with at all and they could largely care less about what's going on in Cyrodiil. So they are not enemy soldiers anywhere, just unaffiliated adventurers.

Maybe it would be cool if you automatically got a bounty if you were in say an AD zone wearing Pact motif armor or hero costume :)

I want there to be One Tamriel, too, mainly so that I can play with my friends who have compatible characters in different alliances more effectively. I've been saying this for quite a while, so it is exciting they are finally doing it.

However, that is about where my excitement ends. Everything else that I envision they will be doing is going to be not so exciting.

Fortunately, I am just peering into the crystal ball. ZOS has plenty of time to show me the error of my clairvoyant ways.
