Search. not everyone will be happy with this, but if you could,

• search even just the traders in one town all at once, it would be a major baby step improvement.
• search all guild traders at once for an item, but then have to travel to that location, it would be monster improvement and still deter enough from leaving their present location to deal with more load screens.
• search everywhere buy anywhere. In theory, this is what buyers want. However this may wreck market economy.
