Is this a single player game?

For the first couple of months I was really into this game but then it just got more and more boring. Maybe it's just me but this feels like a single player game. Great story, great voice acting and all. I know you can do quests together but I'm forever alone and all I have left are dungeons (I really like them) and pvp (its ok i guess but im not a big fan). I really want to get into this game but I just can't  all I see is just questing all the time. And a lot of people in my guild are playing in dlcs...I DONT HAVE DLCs!

It's about as single-player as you want it to be.

With an honest perspective, the game is much more fun if you play with others on Skype, TS, etc. Yes, there is a lot of questing for the sake of RPG immersion, but really it's built to be that way: to be story-based and engaging for the player. Solo dungeons and public dungeons exist for solo'ers and small groups.

The only thing is, if you want to run veteran dungeons / trials in endgame, you need a decent group for that. That's where the multiplayer comes in.

Otherwise, the game is built for solo / small group content. Really, it's up to you how you want to level. Or you could just grind your way up in Old Orsinium.

The game can be played in any way you want, really. However, you will rather be shooting yourself in the foot if you elect not to have all the content. I'd suggest you either get the DLCs or try some different guilds, you can join up to five after all.

Yeah.. majority, if not all, of the main and side quests can be all done as a single player, but if you're hitting the world boss pits, public or group dungeons, running dolmen (if you're not high CP enough yet) or venturing into Cyrodiil or Craglorn, it is not a single player. Also, there are certain puzzles/entranceway within a couple quests or dungeon that you would need 2 or more to do to unlock.

This is a great single player game, especially for someone who likes Skyrim and prefer to quest and harvest alone. Like me for example. Dungeons and socializing rarely. Guilds are mainly to earn gold which is then spent on crafting gears for solo content. Also most world bosses and dolmens can be done solo with decent gears, and in fact that content is treated a challenge for some people, like me, to complete as much as possible alone. I hope there would an achievement for soloing these o:) .

Not necessarily, my guild is a pure PvP guild with about 70-80 members atm. Guilds are much more than what you seem to think, they are for like-minded people to socialise and enjoy the game.

As well as trading guilds there are PvE and PvP guilds. There are also guilds for vampires, werewolfs and even class specific guilds.

@SirFilip - Have a look at the guild recruitment section and see if any guilds seem appropriate for you.

    And good luck... ;)

Get a ESO+ sub at least for one month. That way you will have full access to DLC and can try out which one you feel add content and support your play style. Crafting Bags will save you from upgrading/buy bank/inventory/mount bags with in game Gold as all crafting material and lures will go directly into those slot instead of filling up bank or inventory space.

Cost for one month sub is the same as buying Crowns and you will get 1500 Crowns for each month, so you will not loose anything from doing this. Only you access to DLC (which you can now buy with thise earned Crowns) will be cut off and you will not be able to put anything more in Craft Bag, but you will be able take out materials, if you decide to stop subbing.

Orsinium DLC is the one which I would say expand base game most with quest related to game world, with trails (12 man group), harder version of solo dungeons and world bosses. You will also be battle scaled and have access to higher level gathering material and at that rank you crafting passive are set. The other DLC is smaller and adds new passives either for thievies or for assasin.

If you don't want to even try out with only one month ESO+ sub, then you can at least use YT to see what each DLC is offering.
