Auto Loot and Containers

There have been some changes with this in the past few updates. For a while, when Auto Loot was on, it would auto loot the containers, but I would see the contents in the loot log. Then, they fixed this so that Auto Loot did not work on containers like from Writs. That was my preference, which is why I said they fixed this.

This morning, I noticed that not only is auto loot back with Writ Containers, I don't see what I am getting in the loot log either. I have to turn off Auto Loot on my characters that are doing writs (which is 7 of 8 them) and then turn it back on when I am farming. Looking in the Craft Bag after each Container is not a valid option. Also, for those of use who save survey maps, we have to turn off auto loot to see what the map is in the container, then turn auto loot back on to loot the survey nodes. (the reason I have to look in the containers is when I have multiple maps for one survey location) This is a real pain.

Can we please go back to having auto loot off on containers? Or at least make it a toggle?

I actually hated that they turned off auto-loot for containers. I guess I can understand why someone people wouldn't want it, but man, that should have been a toggle option, not a complete destruction of the function.

Auto-loot for inventory containers should be an option, separate from the auto-loot for world containers, so people can choose to set them differently.

Also, all loot should always go to the loot log (assuming it's toggled on), regardless of its source.

I agree with the toggle option! Options, devs...the town folks want options! (we raise our pitch forks and torches at you enough)

I noticed this too. A toggle would be the best option, so we can choose for ourselves to have it on or off.
