Aparence Change

Reguarding aparence change ONLY, as we don't have a price in crowns yet, I think that there should be a GOLD option for it, or at very least give you one aparence change per max level toon, avoiding exploiters from getting free changes by making new toons, and only lvl50 toons getting such a thing.

That would be a nice feature, but probably not likely to happen. ZOS has to be able to make money somehow.

No real money to be made by charging in-game gold.

Yeah...that wont happen. If they put something in the crown store, you can bet thats the only way you can get it, they dont care that you want to change your appearance, they just care about your money xD.

Sad, but even for someone who's greedy, there is something called "market strategy", if they are smart, they'll do one or the other ^

It isn't greed, it is about funding what they do. Even big games like WoW had very minimal ingame changes you could make. Hair, piercings far as I can remember. Want to change facial features? Cash. And WoW is sub only.

Also, wouldn't creating a new character to exploit appearance changes be rather useless since you get to look a new way with a new character?

Ugh I hate it when people refer to alts as "toons", just eww.

Anyway, I really don't think this will happen. Any additions content-wise to the game will most likely be DLC, as it has been thus far. It's saddening because we've already bought the game, but I guess ZoS is a company at the end of the day. At this stage I would not be surprised if they make using dyes crowns-only.

Maybe if we complain and suggest it enough they'll make it so we can use in-game gold.
Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.

This game is buy to play and has a subscription service, plenty of money is already being milked from us.

If you think they're touching you inappropriately, you know what you can do... :p

Honestly, it would be cool if there was a way to buy appearance change tokens in game, but it's not exactly a priority, is it? I mean, your character will still work, same as before, it's just tweaking the visuals a bit.

The one thing I didn't expect, and really like is, on the PTS, if you buy the new hair styles (and the existing hairstyles pack, for that matter), you can equip those to your characters as a collectable. Meaning, once the base game pack is up, if you want to spend cash once, you will have the ability to change your character's hair whenever you want.
