Does the Flame Talent affect Templar skills? There have been times that the enemies have been turned into ash as if set on fire, so would this boost a Templar 's skills for Dawn's Wrath?

Yes. Any skill that deals flame damage gets the bonus -- Sun Fire, for example.

Yes, any fire attacks are boosted by 7% thanks to Flame Talent

Let me just add that Dunmer Templar are really fun to play.

altmer for healing since the regen is so awsome

As of update 11, make that Altmer an Argonian. They are going to be the definitive healing race.

Otherwise, Dunmer Templars rock, and its great way to learn the game whilst not worrying about skills on killing stuff too much. Its a bit one-button kills everything kind of thing.

I have a dunmer Mag Templar, and I maxed her out, did gold, silver, wrothgar, TG and DB on her, and it was fun..to a point. I realised everything had become a faceroll, and I could not fail pretty much. However, I upped my skill set, and realised I needed a more challenging class for PvE.

So, I have built a Khajiit Stamblade Thief (Nights silence/Night mothers Gaze), and whilst its hellishly more squishy, the learning curve has been hellish fun. On dual wield, they also have a self heal in the form of the flurry morph. However, as its a weapon skill, any class with stamina as a base could use it. And it is possible via CP to make it do more healing.
