Magicka Templar PvP

So ever since the Argonian buff announcement, I've been working on a MagPlar PvP build (I will be switching gear for a healer build). But I noticed something while in Blackwater. Puncturing Sweeps doesn't really hit very hard, or is it just me? Can someone help me with a MagPlar PvP build? It should be good for small-large scale and good for 1vXs if they occur.
This is what I'm planning on running (once I get to lv50)
5x Kagrenacs (5 body, divines)
1x Molag Kena (1 head, divines)
3x Transmutation (1 Necklace, 1 armor [divines], 1 sword [sharpened])
3x Willpower (2 rings, 1 sword [sharpened], 1 resto staff [sharpened])

Atronach Mundus (argonian doesn't have the best recovery)
Vampire
The Spell Damage should be around 2650-3000
The Max Magic should be around 26500-29000
The Recovery should be around 1900-2500.

Currently 5 Kag, 1 kena, 3 torugs (dw and SnB + helm), 3 willpower.

Have 36k magicka, and 1500 recovery on dw bar

    Btw I'm a imperial vampire

thurmage CP gives you bonus damage to puncturing sweep

Well...being in black water blade, now correct me if I'm wrong, but you don't have access to CP. That would be why you damage is not on par. You are a lower leveled character and do not have high magick either. Are you using max magick/max health food?

Even on my max CP templar, max geared, running basically the same set up, I noticed punturing doesn't hit too much. In one sweep if all four jabs hit, and at least one burning light proc, I hit for about 6-10k over the channel. But depending on the spell resist and crit resist of the enemy, my hit may be more and less than the number I gave you. Soo...its not an AWESOME skill. But it is pretty sweet. Dark flare hits harder, although its harder to get dark flare to even hit at all. Up to 14k on a crit. Soo that powerful. Also you may want to run vamps bane. Pop vamps bane, charge in and by the time you hit him with a full PS channel you should have done anywhere from 10-15k damage I the course of just a few seconds.

So with structured entropy and dawns wrath cast you get 25% more spell power for you charge and consecutive PS casts. Its a good combo

Also remember that through scaling, if you make gear at level 20, every level you gain after level 20 you are losing stats, and must replace you gear again, due to your gear losing values and the game giving you less "boost" through scaling

your max magicka is low, you can take it to 35-38k easily.

To hit hard you need to be pushing 38K magicka. When I'm in light armour and stacking loads of Magicka I hit really hard. 13K Dark Flares on players. In heavy it's about sustaining in fights and doing constant damage, 32K magicka is perfectly acceptable for this.

Your build could be fine, you just need to know what role you're gonna be. If you wanna 1vX, well there is no build for that, that's skill.

People these days are running Fasallas/Reactive + Malubeth + Transmutation. It's bulletproof, you just can't go wrong. And if you die in a 1v2 or 1v5, you're a fool. You might not be able to kill anything, but you should easily tank 5+. However, if you wanna run another build, which I'm currently running and enjoying a lot(!), I get around 2,9k buffed spell damage and 28K HP and somewhere around 1,5k-2k regen, depends which food I'm using. (I now got amore even CP in Elem./Hardy. And I got 85 in Elem expert and some more in Thaumaturge). And the CP is not optimal. I'm just trying it out :) Also - I suggest you do what YOU like! It doesn't matter if you find a build, if you don't enjoy playing it.

5 purple(lol) Kag's. Heavy Chest: Reinforced, Heavy Greaves: Reinforced. Heavy Shoes: Reinf. Light Sash: Impen, Medium Gloves: Impen. ||
1x Heavy Malubeth shoulder: Impen, 1x Heavy Malubeth helm: Well-fitted
    | 3x Willpower jewellery: Arcane- all with spell damage enchants. (I swap them out for my Recovery/2x reduced cost in larger groups 4-5+ people).
    || 2x Sharpened Torug's Sword for Dual Wield(Swapping out for either resto[if healing springs are needed] or Sword & Board in larger groups). ||
1x Defending Torug's Pact Sword & Torug's pact Reinforced (should get impen-.-) shield. ||

I'm using Food: Max health + stamina + magicka - in a smaller group. Max Health + Mag recovery if I want to kill things :w:

    CP:
    100 Magician
    1 Warlord
    1 Sprinter
    1 Bashing Focus
    50 Arcanist

A good Templar build I know of is 5 krags 5 trasmution and 2 melbeth and you can wreck face with a good mix of good sustain damage and survivability.

Wish that magplars could wear light armor...and I know we can, but the amount of damage we take is significantly more than with heavy...

When you creating pvp build you can forget about all other traits. There is only 2 traits exist: Sturdy, Impenetrable.

Then there are a lot of cowards out there. Like a lot, a lot. Templars are overrunning Cyrodiil. More and more everyday.

As Cinbri already mentioned, there is only two viable traits in regards for light armor and heavy armor templar builds:
Sturdy if you play tanky build
Impen on anything else. Always. You'll need the damage reduction once you go out of BWB.
Full Divines is nice for sure, but believe me you don't want to meet a proper geared stamblade when you're not using any impen. That's gonna hurt. A lot.

I run all light infused. 40,400+ magicka. 5 Julianos, 2 Magnus, 1 Kena, 3 Willpower.

I melt everything. Being a Vamp makes me extra survivable with mist form and the Undeath passive. 16,500 PVP kills and counting.

Don't forget about Dampen Magic. It's a shield for all damage now. With full Light the shield is 11k in pvp.
