Ahh here we are. Been an ESO Plus member for a very long time and today it's no longer active on my account. But I was just billed for it? I would expect the devs to fix this issue be specially sine it's paying their salaries. Please fix this. Xbox user id bmatson. Yes I opened a ticket, yes I did everything you suggested. No it didn't work. This issue is on your end.

Today must have been your renewal date? You missed something in every suggestion you did. Search the forums and contact Microsoft, there are a lot of posts on this issue in this section and the ESO+ section .....

I encourage people to report all the issues we are having at http://massivelyop.com/tips/ and lets try and get some news coverage on the issues and less than great response we are getting to them.

Some of my guild mates have come across this. It is a xbox support issue, not a zos issue. Just contact xbox live support and they will be able to help you out more than zos will.

Microsoft has stated it is an issue on Zenimax's side.

The issue is on the ZOS side with them not correctly applying the benefits after it is purchased. There was a Microsoft customer support chat log posted on this forum last week where this was covered and how Microsoft was reaching out to ZOS to help them fix it on their end.

Here you go I found the post....

Chris: Thank you for your assistance. Do you know what caused the issue? Was it a microsoft issue or was it on the ESO side?
Ryan B. : Since we currently have a number of reports the same issue as yours right now, this is definitely under the control of ESO since the license was not properly granted on their end when the purchase was made. But don't worry, our engineers are cascading this to them so that this gets patched as soon as possible. But rest assured there is nothing wrong on your end or ours for this matter okay?"

So my renewal date is tomorrow, my game just completely locked up, had to restart eso. Upon loading in instead of wrothgar it was stormhaven... no longer have eso plus. So I should contact xbox for this? I've read it's a ZoS problem but let's face it.. they aren't into fixing much in any timely manner.

Yes, contact Microsoft, so they can help you with the only fix that ZOS has been able to come up with to date. You will have to have them cancel your sub, issue you a refund, and then resub.

It appears ZOS doesn't do bug fixes on the Xbox any more only work arounds.

Several of us in my guild have figured out the pattern. Basically, for everyone who has an automated renewal of ESO plus, you will lose ESO plus benefits for approximately half a day starting on the monthly anniversary of your renewal. So, expect it once per month. It auto-resolves after 12 hours or so. IMO, it's more of a hassle to cancel with Microsoft and re-subscribe than to just wait it out a half day.

@Unsent.Soul did the problem with ESO Plus fix itself for you like Methadone_Man said he has found it to do?

I started an ESO+ subscription at the beginning of June, mainly to get the crafting bag. When my sub auto-renewed I lost all in-game access. Went through the process of having XBOX support cancel my sub. I recently re-subbed.

From what I've read on these forums, I am considering going into my account settings on xbox.com and turning off auto-renew. Let my sub lapse after 30 days, then wait a day or two and start a new sub. I'm hoping this might eliminate the need to contact XBOX support every month.

Yes Methadone_Man was correct it's always on the day of your auto renewal date. Of course ZOS blames this on M$ but if ZOS gave at least a 1 day leeway for this it wouldn't affect anyone.

Sounds about right. They never have had a problem they can't ignore or blame on someone else.
