Any one know how to embed non youtube videos?

Could be helpful. I have never tried on this particular forum but they all seem to be about the same. Just need to know the correct tags. There is also a image and URL button above you post when you are creating it that allows you to add URL and Images. Buttons will be cleaner it seems.

Embedding Videos


Embedding videos into your posts can be a little trickier, but with these tips it should be a cinch!

First, find the video that you want to imbed from a place such as Youtube.

Second, click on the Flash button at the top of the forum post editor. A code will appear that looks like this:

Third, paste the URL from the video in between the flash tags:

[flash=]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cj6ho1-G6tw&feature=player_embedded[/flash]

@Defilted Notice how the forum breaks your flash code and embeds the Youtube URL anyway? Youtube vids are the only video links this forum works with. I've tried and no other sources work here.

I too have experienced random load screens, however not nearly as badly as that. ZOS has stated sprinting on your mount can cause these issues, so instead perhaps try going through Wayrest while on foot and see what happens? I myself usually avoid the cities as much as possible these days.

How I handle excessive load screens:

1. Load in
2. Jump on my Dro M'athra mount
3. Wait for the mount's special effect animation to show
4. No extra loading screens when running around after

This happens on PC, too, though to a much lesser extent. I've been running on my mount, hit a load screen... end up on this weird ether-void where nothing's there... load screen... back to where I was. Something broke, but I'm not sure if ZOS knows what it is.

In the long long ago, in the before time, players would use wayshrines and log in... and immediately be teleported into the sky where they'd fall to their own deaths. This happened for almost half a year before it was finally fixed, and it turned out to be something rather obscure. Some player on the forums was able to pinpoint the issue and help them fix it. Due to the fact this happens so often on consoles and rarely on PC it leads me to think something is borked, but the "what" is anyone's guess.

It seems to happen if you move too fast before the surrounding areas can finish loading. The only time I have it happen is when I'm moving really fast (mount + rapids or doing a charge attack). I get it about 1-2 times a week.

On PS4 I am getting random loads and just flat out being kicked from the server over an over. It's practically non-playable at all recently. This is not my internet as I am pulling a steady 30mbs nat 2 when I test it. No issues with any other online games. It's really making me sad, I wanna play my new DK.

The lag has been pretty rough on the Xbox servers lately as well.

Makes me avoid the cities (any city) unless I absolutely must go to one...

I know it's not my internet (as other people have mentioned, there's solid connections all around), and yet the lag still persists (and has become quite a bit worse over the last several weeks). For parity; I'm running with Google Fiber, a completely wide-open NAT, and ESO is the only game currently on the HDD (I moved everything else to my external quite a few months back).

Still, lag and frame rate drops are pretty frequent, as well as several CTD's per night.

I'm not upset, it's just annoying IMO.

This would mainly affect those running on older traditional HDD's with 5200RPM, which both consoles have too. However this is not the case on SSD or even 7200+RPM traditional drives.
My wife has an occasional loading screen in mournhold but that's because her HDD is a crappy little 5200 one, rest of the specs are great and no issues apart from that.
On my desktop which runs only on multiple SSD's no loading screens whatsoever and the transition screens between areas are as short as a few seconds. It all boils down to your hardware.

This issue has been present on ps4 since the Dark Brotherhood DLC/update went live. It doesn't matter if your in a city, it doesn't matter if your in the middle of no where, it doesn't matter if your on a horse or on foot. This issue happens just about everywhere in the game even in the middle of dungeons. Not only that but the amount of times that I have had to fight invisible enemies that don't load even after 3 loading screens. In all honesty I am glad to see this is happening on xbox as well because all that seems to come up when I ask for help is "Its your internet." My internet and my game worked find without all the loading before dark brotherhood. I thought that this would be fixed in the last incremental but nope.

Just an example of what happened to me early when closing some dolmans in eastmarch.

1. I spawn in at the wayshrine. I wait roughly 15 secs to try and avoid extra load screens.
2. I call my horse and get on and start heading towards the dolman. I make it about 20 steps on my horse and get a loading screen.
3. After the loading screen ends I am laying dead on the ground. Apparently killed by sabre cats.
4. I revive and then call my horse and take about 20 more steps and get another load screen. At this point I'm almost to the anchor.
5. After that load screen I finish riding up to the dolman. Just as I get to said dolman another load screen at which point I am killed by the worm mages at the doman.
6. Next I respawn close the anchor and head back to the nearest wayshrine. Same one I just came from.
7. Just before I get to the wayshrine I get another load screen.

^this is absolutely insane. How and the heck did this not get fixed? Why are we already talking about next dlc and content when the game in its current state is practically unplayable. It doesn't matter if there are 50 people around me or if I'm alone like I was in the scenario above. I am nearing the end of my patience with ZOS. I understand the need for new items in the crown store but when so many people can barely even play the base game due to the excessive amounts of loading screens I would hope that the priority would be to fix this issue.

I have to also ask this of ZOS. Does anybody in the development of this game actually play this game on console? If so how can you even have a straight face about the state of the game on console? I think its fair to say that no one at ZOS plays this game on console. The amount of loading screens occurring in EVERY zone and EVERY area of the game is just plain insane.

The best analogy I can give to sum this up to people is this. Imagine watching a youtube video and every 5 to 15 secs its gotta buffer for 10 secs. That is the current state of eso on console. Please ZOS fix this in your next update. I can no longer deal with the amount of loading screens that are present. As for ZOS if you are curious or don't know what these load screens are just turn on a ps4 or xbox and try playing.

I don't want to character transfer I want the game to work as intended. PC has its own issues. This is not about PC or Console its about the dev communicating with its console players on an issue that is non stop and frankly shouldn't even have made it into the game. I just want to know if they are aware of it since I can find nothing here about it except this thread and video.

Ok so since Xbox is the one having all the problems perhaps using the word "console" in the thread title isn't the most accurate approach... Sure a few PS4 users are having the same issues but it's not nearly as widespread as Xbox.

They are well aware of it, thanks to many QQ err I mean feedback threads that you can find with the shiny search function.

I played in Cyrodiil last night on Xbox one. I played in Scourge which is always full. We had lots of lag but at least I only got DC'd once which is much better than it used to be.

I'm PS4 and it's funny that I don't have any "load screen" issues at all. Of course, I never hurry anything and always let all the animations complete before I do anything.

Yes, it's annoying, but, after my experiences with TES and the Fallout series, shortcuts and cancellations only lead to heartache and crashing, so I guess I'm just boring.

I am sorry y'all are experiencing all these issues.

Now FPS - that gets on my nerves. Talk about Lag!

Never had any problems until DB patch and even then nothing like this until they fixed the crashes with whatever this is.

I feel it too. I'm a ps4 player and after today's maintenance, the lag is now worse than ever in cyrodiil, and loading screens in the middle of the pve map

On PS4 EU, getting random lag spikes in cities and in the wild where there are very few players.

Daggerfall and Mournhold are pretty bad for lag especially with the constant player AOE and mount summon spam, getting random lag spikes in Eastmarch but not so much in Windhelm itself.
