EU Maintenance

You NEED to fix your maintenance times on Eu servers. You must do it on the night and not during the day. It is standard. Why do I have to tell people that are thinking of start this game that you can only play it 6 days a week as tuesdays is maintenance for almost the entire day?

Atleast tell us something! Maybe in the "Maintenance announcement thread"? No clue what that one is for.

It's not a patch or it would have been announced as "patch maintenance" not "maintenance". Given that there is no scheduled maintenance this week for the PC NA server the likelihood is that it's data center maintenance by the host company, not ZOS.

Also, is there really a need to exaggerate over such things? Maintenance from early morning to early afternoon is hardly "almost the entire day".

Well it IS annoying.. but if they need to have a person to actually start the maintenance/patch thingy, it would be smarter for them to do it in work hours

And it is the time where most work anyway - why would they want to cater to teenagers, who are still at school - they should not be playing this game anyway, it is rated M.

That doesn't mean they shouldn't be playing it at 18 or 19, surely? In any event, some adults are out of work, working unsocial hours, on holiday or - like me - retired. Downtime is often when I would be playing, but guess what? I find something else to do without any difficulty!

There might not be a client side patch, but it's quite possible the server software got patched

College students, retired people, people on vacation, people working different shifts, people from outside EU timezones...
