Anil235✭✭Neither; I run a tank with points into all 3 stats. I need a magicka pool for talons and inner fire, a health pool for survival, and a large stamina pool for blocking. Get at least 22.5k stamina and 25k health with hard called resistances. I'm running 5 pc Tavas and 2 pc Blood Spawn for ultimate regen in trials.0 -

✭✭I only run PVE and love my stamina Orc DK tank.
5pc Hist Bark, 2pc Engine Guardian, 3pc Endurance jewelry and Willpower sword and board. With food I have 35k health, 29k stamina and just under 2k of both health and stamina recovery.Australian on PS4 NA server.

CP allocated to both health & magicka regen & none allocated to stamina (cos Stam doesn't regen when blocking)
Current armour is 5 x Hide of Morihaus and 5 x Mark of the Pariah (incl jewellery)
But I'm no expert. And I don't PVP so not sure how this would stack up in PVP. Don't pay too much attention to me.Xbox One. NA Server

AmberLaTerra✭✭✭✭I run a stam DK imperial, taking less damage and being easy to heal with 5 piece Ebon and 5 piece Pariah allows the healer to focus more on keeping the more squishy DPS up.
Magika Tanks may give more flexibility and more DPS options, but as a tank DPS is not your job, holding the bosses and packs of mobs is your job, and when people in PUGs complain about my DPS as a tank it is a simple enough answer that is their role so worry about their own job.PAWS (Positively Against Wrip-off Stuff) - Say No to Crown Crates!

Stamina focus on mitigation and block reduction. Old school mmo tank.
Magic focus on cc and shields, plus contribute to massive aoe damage.
If you want to hold block go stam, if you want to be active go magicTl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.0
