Dungeon loot tables (yes, again)

I've just spent all my Daedric Shackles I'd been hoarding in the hopes that ZOS would improve the loot tables in vet dungeons. I have to say I didn't expect such bad results...

I started out with 2711 shackles, which is the result of 71 runs and change. That's over seventy runs and that's just since I started saving my shackles because of the terrible loot system, before that I did at least that many. Still, for argument's sake, let's focus on these seventy runs. I was looking to complete my scathing mage set, of which I only have 2 pieces in divines. This is what dropped from today's run and the 18 vault chests I opened:

- 6 pieces Tormentor (15%)
- 10 pieces Leeching (25%)
- 7 pieces Sheer Venom (17.5%)
- 5 pieces Toxic Defiance (12.5%)
- 4 pieces Scathing Mage (10%)
- 8 pieces Combat Physician (20%)

That's a terrible start already. I've been looking to complete Scathing Mage for months, yet it's the lowest-dropping of them all by far. And naturally, out of the 4 pieces Scathing Mage that did drop, not one was divines: I got Infused Hat (worthless, as I need that slot for a monster set); sturdy Epaulets and Shoes (worthless for a Magicka DPS set); and reinforced Shoes (worthless on light armour). So basically 70+ runs and f**k all to show for it (not including my previous runs, as I've mentioned before).

I'm seriously p****ed right now. It's one thing to make people work for their drops; it's another thing completely to have a system where you can keep running the damned dungeon and still you'll never get the drop you were looking for. Scr** you, @Wrobel and whoever else is involved in itemization/loot tables.

I would gladly spend 2711 shackles for ONE piece of gear of my choice.

Then again, that might just be the Stockholm syndrome talking.

This is why we need to be able to allow master crafters to 'over-write' traits in the same manner enchantments can be over-written.

We wouldn't need to, if the loot system were anything near sane. Prosperous (or, add it's come to me known in-game, 'preposterous') and training should never be in these loot tables. This gear should never be bound on pickup. Shackles and embers should be traded for a piece of the player's choice, not another RNG fest.

[EDIT]Other interesting data: out of all the 40 drops, 8 (20%) were training or prosperous, complete trash any way you look at it. If you add well-fitted (6 pieces), which I also consider complete rubbish despite the recent change, then it goes up to 35% trash, i.e. more than 1 in 3 drops are worthless.
