Adding more to the CP system

Is there any chance ZOS could add more to the CP system? For example we have The Mage tree -> Apprentice -> Elemental Expert -> Increase frost, flame, shock and magic damage. How about if once you spend 10/50/100 points in there, you unlock a lower level that lets you focus on one of the four; magic, fire, frost or shock. That way, we'd find much more customised builds, like fire mages or shock mages. And for thematurge you could add a lower level that for eg increases in the initial hit or the DoT. Or increase the duration of each DoT ability.

At the moment, the champion system is bland. Just about all stamina or magicka builds use the same template.

Everything about thae game has gone K mart. From the new guilds not having any active abilities, just passives that only benefit you for the content of that zone. All the way to the champion system being a pool of just increase your general power incrementaly. the system needed much more . Like the EQ 2 AA trees having passives and morphing current active abilites into something that is more build specfic. Truthfully the game is looking more and more like F2P cash game in direction.

I'm pretty sure that the passives are game wide. Also, there isn't actives abilities because those skill lines are exclusive to people that owns the dlc and eso plusers. They don't want listen to "thats p2w" argument, so those skill lines have no actual benefit in combat.

The argument would be valid if Active skill lines were locked behind the subscription. No one has a problem with introducing new actives in the DLC. And if they do they are completely wrong in that circumstance.

C'mon, you know how gamming community is, they would totally go:
"OMG, ZOS WANTS ME TO BUY THE DLC/PAY THE SUB TO HAVE ACCESS TO THIS TOTALLY ULTIMATELY OVERPOWERED ABILITY, THE GAME IS SOO P2W".

That's why the new skill lines have no pratical use in combat, because people would go bananas because of it.

I'm bringing this back to life. With 200 CP in each tree, I think ZOS need to expand the CP options. Everyone will have pretty much the same CP spend. The champion point system is a great opportunity to allow real customisation to our chars.

While I agree but we gotta see what Zen's plans are for the future, currently CP-system is just fine, it should keep players playing and thats most important thing.

I recall making a very similar suggestion ages ago, with the intent to get people into more specializing, for added build diversity, and to having to make a choice, since I would make those sub-stars "pick one out of the options". And making them choose to concentrate on specialized substars, or raise their mainstars further, a question which does become valid through the diminishing results thing...

I'd like to see it, of course. But of course, seeing as they are nowhere near the limits of CP spending allowance at this time, they have a lot of time to consider expanding that system...
