Looking to max out my crafting!

prohunter654
What is the best way to max out my crafting? I primarily use blacksmithing, smithing and woodworking. I was thinking maybe I could pay someone to make high level basic items so I could deconstruct things but I'm not sure where to find someone or if that's even the best way? Could anyone help?

    - There is a champion point passive that gives you +20% inspiration, get that ASAP.
    - ESO+ gives +10% inspiration.
    - Deconstruct every piece of non-set gear that drops for you.

With all of the above you should be able to max out your equipment crafting skills by the time you complete silver & gold.

You also get some decent inspiration from writs, if you got all those mats sitting around from deconstructing.

Decon everything. If you've got tons of oil and stones to spare upgrade your intricate items before you decon them. They go from 280% to 300% just for making them green. May as well put them to use eh?

I deconstructed everything I found. I also gathered and saved mats until I moved on to the next level of material, then I crafted a bunch of items with lower level mats and sold them. You get some xp and some gold which is nice.

Just my tips. Once research is done, you gain alot of xp from that.

Also, I really wish they would implement something to show what traits you already have learned instead of jumping back and forth between screens (PS4), but any who.

If you have a white item with divines and say a blue or purple, research the white and decon the higher end stuff, more inspiration. Might sound like common sense, but I kept doing it and not realizing the tempers and stuff I was missing.

I am maxxed BS LW and Clothing. It doesnt take long and you should have a ton of mats and tempers to sell. Good luck.

Best way to max out crafting?

Go to a public dungeon with empty bags and don't leave until they are full. Decon all the loot you get*, rinse repeat. Take some repair kits in with you so you don't have to leave if you wreck your armor. Although, if your wrecking your armor, that means your racking up the experience, so there is that.

You get crafting inspiration on the decon, you get character experience, you get skill experience and levels, you get gold, you get traited items to research, and a nice selection of intricates to really boost your inspiration.

*Sell the Ornates, that will cover repair costs if you don't have repair kits
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

If you have a high level alt, transfer all your cp 150 & 160 items to your crafter. I leveled TWO alts simultaneously to 50 in all three equipment crafts shortly after arriving in Cold Harbor. Definitely focus on deconning Intricates. Also, you do get a good ISP boost from writs, though that will require a lot of harvesting for mats.

Maxing out the LEVEL has already been discussed. Just decon everything for great results

The harder part is maxing out the traits. Unfortunately, time is your worst enemy here - the last few traits that you research take a LONG time.

I suggest that as you level, spend skill points into the multiple research passive as soon as they become available to you. Getting that up to the max as soon as possible will allow you to research 3 traits for each Blacksmithing, Woodworking, and Clothing.
