Greetings,
Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online team. I understand you have some questions regarding your mount. Below are some basic information to get you on your horse and galloping around Tamriel right away.
•To mount a horse (or panther, or guar, etc.), you must first have one set as your "active mount". This is done from the Collections tab on the player's menu. You can return to this menu at any time to change which mount is active on your character. You will need to set your active mount on each individual character.
•Mounts are account wide, meaning each mount you purchase is available for all of your characters to use!
•Each individual character will need to train their riding skills separately, however. You can take riding lessons at stables to increase maximum speed, stamina, and saddle bag capacity. You can train these riding skills by talking to the trainer near the stables
If you ever experience an issue mounting your steed after setting an active mount, please follow the troubleshooting steps below:
1.Disable your add-ons.
2.Soft reset your game client by logging out for 15 minutes and back in again.
3.Change zones.
4.Remove any costumes on the character affected.
5.Go into a building and then leave again.
If the issue persists after attempting these steps, please feel free to respond back so we can investigate your issue further.
Kind Regards,
The Elder Scrolls Online Team
