Most people don't realize the wealth gap between most humans and the few billion who are wealthy enough to afford anything realistic. Not saying OP is from a poor country or is just poor, just saying people's inherit view on this subject is diluted with the perspective of a wealthy person who can afford to buy everything off the store.

OP - it was stated in the most recent ESO Live that a crown-purchasable DLC bundle is coming

$80 to buy the last 4 DLC. No extra crowns.
$150 a year for ESO plus and you get 18000 crowns included.
$150 minus $80 = $70.
18000 crowns cost about $120.
$120 + $80 =$200 ..... ESO plus is cheaper , unless you plan to "never" buy crowns.
Older games always drop the price with time... Would you be upset that a game that you got for $60 at release costs $20 2 years later? No. That's just how the industry works.
You also mentioned that you keep leaving the game and keep coming back. Then the easiest way to get your money worth is to sib for one month, play through all dlcs, and resub whenever you decide you wanna go through them again.
A lot of people find the system reasonable. Moreover, you are exactly the type of customer (playing for some time, then leaving till new dlc release) that Matt Firor was talking about. The new DLC sizes and payment options are there for you to take full advantage ($13 a month instead of buying all dlcs)
