Salt water fishing in cyrodiil

Hi, Could someone please tell me if there are any other places to fish for salt water fish in cyrodiil other than the 1 near the NMEH Gate and the 2 next to the wall of the fort across the slaughter fish infested water? And why is so biased to certian factions? There are very few fishing holes near the daggerfall covenant and none that are salt water that I know of. I have to ride all the way across the map to try and get 1 fish. Also any chance the developers could create a skill group for fishing to help make it easier. You could have 1 for using bait more than once, 1 to improve your chance of catching green and blues and maybe 1 to make basic bait more useful in all waters. That way you could just keep buying bait when you run out.

The only saltwater fishing holes are in dominion territory, right next to their gate. Used to be, this wasn't much of a problem because you could bank fish and move them around... but that doesn't work anymore.

Having ocean fish in Cyrodiil makes no sense and it is one of my pet peeves with fishing. ZOS should have put one extra fish on each of the other categories and not have ocean fish in Cyrodiil at all.

Anyways, here's a map for you:

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

Yep I HATED having to fish there!

I did however run across some very understanding AD players, who took pity on a poor EP angler ;)

Yep. Everyone has to do it to get that achievement.

Fish. Hide. Fish. Hide. Fish. Make sandwich IRL. Notice death recap. Ride back to fishing hole.

    Repeat.

Yeah, EP here. I don't really like to pvp but wanted that title. I got all the down there and was able to fish for about an hour. Then got jumped by a few players and haven't been back since. I'm down to just the blue saltwater fish. One day I will hopefully be able get it.

No need for a pole my friend. The best salt water sources are the many tears of one's enemies!

Side question to people who have played Oblivion : has Lake Rumare always been that dirty ? Or is it the current daedric presence in the Imperial City that turns it into foul water ?

No it wasn't foul water at all - and it had slaughter fish in it west of the IC - there is a quest where you need scales from them.

    Oh god that quest. :(

The delineation of water into saltwater/rivers/lakes/foul is new to ESO. It's not something from the prior games. There were some stray comments about the Rumare being kinda nasty, but there was no concrete, "yeah, this stuff is foul" element... except for all the slaughterfish.

Well that does lead into the Niben Basin which inturn flows through Topal Bay and out into the Ocean.

But then why the other spots around it and the ones near it are lake and river spots? It makes no sense. I think there are both lake and ocean spots around Bravil too btw, but it's been a while since I fished there.
