Altmer Sorcerer; am i on the right track? (Skills & Crafting)

Good day all,

Last week i started picking up ESO again, actively that is, and decided to build a Magicka Sorcerer.
Here's is how it looks so far:

CLICK

Character

Altmer Socrerer

4 pcs of Light Armor
3 pcs of Med Armor

At the moment i am running this:
  1. Crystal Fragments I
  2. Summon unstable Clannfear I
  3. Mage's Fury IV (worth morphing this?)
  4. Boundless Storm I
  5. Walls of Storm IV
  6. Power Overload I

Just recently i've unlocked my second ability bar and i was thinking about a Resto bar but are there are other interesting choices?

Skills

When it comes to skills and leveling of skills, i would like to know if i am on the right track. These are my most importent skill lines:

Dark Magic 18
Daedric Summoning 18
Storm Calling 26

Destruction Staff 27
Restoration Staff 4

Light Armor 18
Medium Armor 18
Heavy Armor 10

Fighters Guild 3
Mage's Guild 3

High Elf Skills 16

Alchemy 8
Blacksmithing 8
Clothing 9
Enchanting 6
Provisioning 6
Woodworking 8

I try to level everything as fast as i can, like doing to Crafting Writs as soon as i unlock them etc.

Conclusion

So i was wondering if you guys give me some heads up about this build and what you thinking i should improve or remove along the way to VR. I could also appreciate some input on my ability bars.

Thanks a lot! Hope to see some great replies.

    Hi!

First I would say just enjoy the game and explore the skills you like most without thinking straight to end-game

A couple of advice for leveling of the top of my head:
    - I would not try to invest in more than 3 craft lines. Even if you plan to have one main character doing both crafting and fighting you will struggle to have enough skill points for everything. It depends on whether you will have alts or not but it would not be a bad idea to have blacksmith/woodworking/Clothing on one character so that if you want a set of a specific rare style you can craft it with your alt (when you learn a style it's is only for that char, not for your alts).
    - Put at least one medium, one light, one heavy. End game you will get a nice bonus from a passive for having 3 types of armor.
    - Mage's wrath morph are not game-changing but if you have the skills it's always worth to morph (continue to increase level and thus damage)

I see that you have only one bar, still low level right? After unlocking second bar you can start dividing your ability between the 2 and, for example, have one bar for offensive, one bar more for defense/buff.

    Hope it helps a bit

    Enjoy!

    Thank you for your reply.

I kinda like the skills i am using right now, so that's why i am kinda stuck at deciding on what to pick for my second bar. I see a lot of people use Resto bar, but also a lot of people that have DW.

Currently i am only focussing on Blacksmithing / Clothing / Woodworking (and their passives), like you said. The others just leveled along the way by reading and those writs.

Do you (or any other people) have some suggestions for a second ability bar. I really like the Lightning attacks / skills i got going now, so that makes it hard to pick a second ability bar that suits me.

Hopefully you'll find some time to reply :)!

As far as your second bar. I use Inferno Staff on one and Frost/Lighting Staff on two ( depends on my mood ). For skills I use the same on both bars. I just like to keep it simple.
    PC - NA - AD
    started April 2015
    PVE & Solo only

Meet the LOST family: CP 1250+
Easily Lost Crafter - lvl 50 - Sorcerer Orc ( knows all traits and most styles )
    Easily Lost-W - lvl 50 - Warden Imperial
Forever Lost - lvl 50 Sorcerer

CROWN CRATES: It doesn't affect gameplay, it's not mandatory, it's cosmetic only. If it helps to support the game and ZOS, I support it! Say YES to crown crates.

The good thing about using a resto staff is that you will also level it along the way. I personally don't go for DW, mainly because I don't like my sorc to have swords ! But also with the increase in magika costs of ability in the recent patch DW is becoming less common.

Second bar really depends on what do you want to play (or hope to achieve in the future)....Healer, dps, tank, pet build, pvp, pve.... There are a lot of guides out there to have a look at the skills you might want to try (here is mine if you want : http://www.redfurconnect.com/forum/m/29232438/viewthread/24952192-mainly-sorcerer-guide) .
