There are addons that already do this by displaying each player's total champion points on characters level 1 to 49, but should Champion Points show up on all characters instead of those who are level 50 by default?

Honestly? IMO I don't think they should include it as a default. If someone really cares that much about cp at low levels, more power to them for finding an addon so that they know.

The amount of cp a person has below level 50 isn't really important, because they can't do vet dungeons or other endgame content until they reach 50 anyway. The only thing it does at low levels is let you know whether a person has gotten past level 50 on any one of their (possibly multiple) characters... Accumulated cp is seen as a badge of experience, and I've seen, heard and talked with players in-game who felt that they have been excluded (either intentionally or unintentionally) from participating in dungeons or other experiences solely because of their number of cp.

Along the same vein, low-level players with CP (due to their "badge of experience" being revealed) would have an advantage over those without cp when it comes to finding groups for dungeons, etc. If new players at low levels are exposed to that sort of exclusion, it could discourage them, resulting in further divides between "new" and "old" players and/or loss of interest in the game. I don't really think any of us wants that to happen.

What purpose does revealing cp at low levels serve? I'm rather curious as to what brought this up.

    TL,DR?

IMO it would do more harm than good to the community because humans are more than capable of being jerks and excluding new players because they're new.

i would assume people would want to know because CP are effective in non-vet PvP

^^^ In PVP, other than BWB or Azurah campaigns. This way that CP 100 guy knows why a level 32 just wrecked him.

    Outside of that, No.

Not a big deal. It would be fine to add this in so we always know someone's CP count, but it does not really matter.

If players really want it I see no reason as to why it shouldn't be added though!
