Xbox - red icon appears on lower left on screen?

Sometimes I will get a little red helmet or what appears to be a crossbow that shows up on the lower left of my screen. Does anyone know what this is?

Red Helmet - One or more pieces of armor is broken and needs repair

Red Bow - Your Weapon Enchant or Poison is used up

Pretty sure it means your armor needs repair.
