Graphics Settings for consoles?

I've been talking to some friends and we all agree that there sould be an option that allow us to change our graphic settings, just because frames go super low in certain areas or activities. I'll be talking for Xbox One in this case, if you go to PvP and there is a large group of people (lets say 40 or more) you can be experiencing frames to go down to 10 or maybe less. I don't actually care about a game having fancy graphics as long as I can play smoothly. I don't know if it is possible to do in a console, but considering this game requires a lot of live rendering it would be a great option to have.

    It shouldn't be necessary on consoles, a game can be a little laggy sometimes but it should be running just fine most of the time and that's ZOS job to optimize their game. It's not like every PS4 or XBOX ONE are different from one another...

    That's one of the reasons I play on console: not to worry about graphic settings and if my machine can run a game or not.

    I'm not against an option but as console players we shouldn't have to compromise like this.

    Yet, I remeber that FFXI never fixed their lag and crashes on XBOX 360 in besieged and the stuttering on main cities like Jeuno, so I can understand that it's not something that can be fixed with a wand. But still, the loading screens in wilderness with little to no players around and stuttering in cities is really annoying and hurt this great game.

    With the PS4 NEo and Xbox Scorpio coming out in the future, maybe that can open up for some kind of option setting on consoles.

    I don't think it's the consoles hardware that's causing problems. I think it's ZOS's biggest problems with everything.... communication.

    It really seems to me that the systems and the server are having problems communicating with one another at times.
    I want to change the world. I'm just to lazy to do it.

    Settings would be nice but as another wrote....problems are largely on ZOS.

    When I played on PC, we had settings ....sme issues
    -PC (PTS)/Xbox One: NewBlacksmurf

    a settings option wont make one jot of a difference to the lag issues, zos seem to of completely ignored all the threads on the problems of lag, loading screens and crashes even in the low populated area's.

    i mean to have lag while fishing in malabal tor is beyond anything a settings option for graphics on console would fix.

    Running into low populated area's and being attacked by something that hasnt spawned on the screen yet is really annoying aswell.

    I am also frustrated with FPS drops but no graphics settings, as ESO graphics are mediocre not even comparable to any new console games...

    Developers should further fine tune the game to resolve FPS issues,

    I left PC for console due to this graphics setting issues and would never accept for consoles..
