Recently I've made a new character and today i finished leveling it up to 50. Everything went smooth, I've moved all of my gear to the new character, did today's gold and then around the time crown store got updated I've started to experience these problems. Firstly it was this message: "Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection." whenever I selected the new char to be loaded into game. The funny thing is that I am able to log into game with every other character ! I managed to get in few times but then got quickly kicked out to login screen after 2-5 min.
Is anyone else experiencing these problems today ? It clearly is something on the ZoS side since I am able to play with any other toon just fine. I've found some old posts from xbox support section but nobody there mentioned to be unable to play just with one of their characters.

I had that problem as well, yesterday. just like you, it was only one character for which this happened, on every other I could log in normally.

for me, it was a low level EP char who's waiting in davon's watch. and I tried loggin in with her around 4 times, but always with the kick to the login screen and the message "Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection."

\I keep getting thrown out of the game when attempting to port into Deshaan. And - porting out of Crypt of Hearts using the wayshrine - it charges me gold, I get thrown out, and the next time I'm able to log the port charges me 1k gold.

Trying to log into a character that is said to be in Elden Hollow. When I try to connect it shows the Deshaan loading screen and eventually kicks me out to the, "Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection.", error.

Edit: I can log into my other characters just fine. They are no where near Deshaan.

Yeah I don't have any problems in other zones but when I try to jump to Deshaan it times me out with the server error. The last time it booted me back to the login screen with the unable to connect error, the game would NOT let go of my computer. I couldn't even CNTL/ALT/DEL to get to the taskbar to force quit. Had to do a hard shutdown...thanks?

I think there are just too many ppl in that one area because of "One Tamriel".


I'm also having "failed to join group" errors. Not sure if there is a relationship.
