The reason (IMO) that we're starting to see more single costumes for 1000 crowns is simply because it has been shown that people will pay 1000 crowns for a costume, and it is a good source of revenue for the company. When the price gets too high and the revenue from those purchases sharply declines the price will go back down.I also want to touch upon the Crown Store cost of things lately. 1000 crowns for one outfit is quite steep and is starting to become the norm. Why? I don't expect people to pay more for less and I don't imagine they are, so that baffles me. You used to be able to get 3 costumes for 700 crowns.
This almost makes me convinced the Player Housing will be paid for by renting a property, not a flat out purchase. With crowns.
Before I begin, I'd like to say I hope that people on the forum will be respectful and appreciate where I'm coming from.
Yesterday I had one of "bad days" health-wise. I managed about 5 minutes of gaming before I had to come off again. My legs stopped working and everything in my body felt like it was shutting down. My heart didn't enjoy me trying to move, nor did my muscles.
Today, however, I had a better day health-wise (although no feeling brilliant still so apologies for any mistakes)! So I immediately jump onto the one thing that keeps me entertained, happy and really the only thing I can do. ESO. I enjoy(ed) PvP for the last few weeks because I had finished all I could in PvE and it wasn't challenging enough anymore.
I put my PS4 and took my painkillers ready to begin. There's one of our keeps trying to be taken from the enemy team - great! I'll head there! - but when I get there I find a small team of people waiting underneath our walls and keeps waiting to use us to jump up and take over. Yes, I'm talking about exploiters.
I took six screenshots and recorded a short video in one short session, roughly lasting 10 minutes. There's not much we could have done to fight these people as lot of them used stealth and even the teleport strike (which was supposed to have been fixed yesterday).
This completely ruined my day. "Why?" you ask, "It's just a game!" - yeah it is. One I enjoy and is the only thing I can enjoy right now.
I reported these people (so if you were on PS4 EU and fighting for AD using exploiits - you've been reported) and I will probably use my youtube channel to show the video clips I've been saving. We can't name and shame here but those rules don't apply on my website.
I've stopped playing now, after 10 minutes. 10 minutes of something that made me happy. Now I'm unhappy. I'm unhappy because I can't enjoy something in which other people ruin for others.

Lastly, I wish I had closer friends on ESO. I know so many of you but know little about you all. I wish our community could be more than it is.
Anyway, that's everything I wanted to say.

Sometimes I wish that costumes and other crown store stuff would not be bound or that there would be a way to donate a crown store item or ESO+ membership to others as a gift.

First off, I'm sorry you're not feeling well and that things went so badly. I hope you're feeling better and won't give up!
I just wanted to ask a question though: Is it against the rules to lurk outside another factions walls to take over? I don't do a lot of PvP, but I like to lurk outside another factions walls and take out folks trying to retake their keep. Is that wrong? Or are we taking about same faction folks doing it.
I know I sound completely ignorant, but, I hate to say this, I am.

Dont want to derail, but you are fine @denmoria what you are doing is well within the limits of the game, and appreciated by your faction.
You are hated by your opponents of course, but you keep on doing you.
Our friend here is talking about people using skills that are a bit broken at times to get INSIDE the keeps and kill people, not waiting outside for them
