Love ESO but skill balance and end-game min/maxing needs work.
I thoroughly enjoy ESO - I love the journey, the setting, the art and the immersive experience (for the most part) which it provides.
I've been playing the end game content and I must say it's the part that that still needs the biggest work. Champion points were a good effort but it still has the net effect of being very min/max orientated. You can't tinker with more interesting builds because it's almost always better to put it into cookie cutter things.
I guess that's my biggest gripe with the game, the fact that the gap between playing something interesting and off-beat is so bigger in comparison to playing the optimal build. Other games seem to execute this better.
There really are just a handful of morphs that are end-game viable and you're restricted to one or two sets due to their stat and damage systems to be end-game viable. They can keep on releasing interesting gear like Bahara's Curse or Clever Alchemist but in the end you simply can't compete with high damage gear if you come up with something of your own creation.
The TL;DR on this is that this game need a revamp and polish of skills and items.
