FPS Drop after 07/05/2016 Hotfix

I have noticed a substantial drop in frames per/s after Tuesday's maintenance. Anyone else? I have always been running around at ~ 100 FPS, even in Cities. Immediately after the patch, it dropped to about 45-50 FPS. This is a major drop.

My system is similar to yours. I fixed the problem by uninstalling my GTX 980 G4 and installing my old HD 7970. Sadly the 900 series cards have issues with the gpu usage (which can be monitored with afterburner) that was the problem my card presented. Here are a few links to the issue best of luck.

I notice you have an nvidia mobile card ( 970M)

Recently ESO uses eso64.exe ( 64bit ) and optimus doesn't detect Elder scrolls actually running , this makes it use the onboard card. ( since in the profile it only has eso.exe )

You can run Nvidia control panel and enable this : http://i50.tinypic.com/2lc91r6.png

Now you can right click eso64.exe and choose , run with nvidia card.

You can also edit the profile and ADD the new eso64.exe to the profile ( along with eso.exe ), this will make it always use the nvidia card.

With most nvidia laptops , the driver needs to know the executable name OR it will let it use the intel onboard card ( so it saves power and only uses the power-hungry nvidia when needed )
