I thought this was the case as well, but I have gotten some chitin from the brown ones a couple times. I think it is just the RNG stuck in a loop on you.0 -

I thought this was the case as well, but I have gotten some chitin from the brown ones a couple times. I think it is just the RNG stuck in a loop on you.
Are you sure you didn't kill a pair where one was red?
